PRELIMS SCREENING BEGINS NOW.
Saptami announces registration for Saptami XVI 2025 Prelims application for all contestants other than Nov 2024 Grand Finale Participants. Anyone who did not come to Dallas during Nov 2024 must enter in prelims this year to get qualified. All candidates who already have their letter grade and certification from Nov 2024 can register for the finals directly. Group singing / dance participants can directly register for the finals. Registration for finals will open by Oct 12 2025 and end on Nov 12 2025.
To qualify for finals –
1. Create a free membership at www.navyog.net and obtain member id. (Please do not use iPad or mobile phone).
2. With member id, email the google link of your sample video (any sample video of your performance will do) to saptamiday@gmail.com before Oct 21 2025. (on going till this date-Qualifying email responses will be sent as and when we receive prelims videos. Please note that registration for finals will close as shown above). DO NOT SEND THE VIDEO DIRECTLY.
3. Video can be of any sample for a duration of about 7 min max and it need not be the same piece you plan to perform in finals if qualified.
4. If you plan to enroll for more categories in finals, you need not submit video link for each category. Please submit video of highest level you can perform at.
5. During finals we will also open for group contests. Groups planning to register for finals NEED NOT submit video for prelims as they can directly register for finals.
Basic rules for the finals.
1. Please do not use books or notes to see while singing or playing.
2. Dance students must be in Dance costume
3. Music students must bring Shruthi Box or App.
4. All registrations must be completed on time to be included in the finals.
5. Please update age/grade information for all participants to be categorized in the right age group for the contests.
6. JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL AND BINDING.
